hearing screening. Don't wait if you believe you may have hearing loss
ShouldI see my doctor for my hearing loss?
Although it's not always necessary to see a doctor when you're experiencing hearing loss, there are some instances when you absolutely should. If you experience sudden hearing loss, ear pain, balance issues, ear pressure, ear drainage, or other medical symptoms related to your ears, we recommend you visit your doctor. In addition, if your hearing loss is severe to profound, we encourage you to visit your doctor. Don't forget to check back in with us if your doctor recommends a hearing aid for mild to moderate hearing loss to see if a Didasou hearing aid might be right for you.
How does hearing lossaffect my overall health and well-being?
Hearing loss can have a significant impact on your overall health and well-being. There are even studies linking untreated
hearing loss to unemployment and lower income. It's important to take care of
your hearing health to keep it in the best shape possible, just like you take care of the rest of your body. Hearing aids are proven to help you overcome the stress and frustration of hearing loss and enhance your overall quality of life
How often do I need tocharge the RIC hearing aid, and what is its battery life?
The RIC hearing aid and its charging case both support fast charging. A single full charge (≤1.5 hours) provides the hearing aid with ≥24 hours of continuous use.
Note: Before the first charge, please remove the insulation tape on the hearing
aid’s charging contacts. The fully charged charging case can recharge the hearing aid three times, ensuring extended usage during travel or busy days.
How long does the boneconduction hearing device’s battery last, and how long does it take to charge?
For the bone conduction hearing device, the standard full charge time is 1.5 hours;
it is recommended to charge for 2 hours before the first use. A fully charged device offers 8-9 hours of continuous use, making it suitable for all-day wear—whether you’re commuting, working, or relaxing. Note: Avoid leaving the device fully discharged for long-term storage; regular charging is recommended during storage to prevent battery deterioration.
What if I can’t connect thedevices to Bluetooth?
For RIC hearing aid: After turning it on, it
automatically enters a 5-minute pairing mode. Enable your phone’s Bluetooth,
find the corresponding device name in the Bluetooth list, and connect. If it fails, clear the pairing record on your phone, or turn off Bluetooth on other devices and restart the RIC hearing aid to try again. If the problem persists, press and hold the multi-function button for 10 seconds to restore Bluetooth settings
For
bone conduction hearing device: Short-press the multifunction button (MFB) to
enter pairing mode (the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately). Then
connect to the corresponding device via your phone’s Bluetooth. If the Bluetooth connection is unstable, minimize the distance between the hearing aid and the phone. If connection issues persist, restart the device or your phone and try again.
Is it easy to get used tothese two hearing devices?
Yes, they are easy to adapt to. Here are specific adaptation suggestions:
RIC hearing aid: Designed as an OTC hearing aid for adults aged 18+, it can be used right out of the box. You can easily adjust the volume and mode via the buttons on the device or the supporting APP. If you have hearing loss in both ears, using RIC hearing aids in both ears will provide better results, especially in scenarios like noisy environments, as it can reduce listening fatigue.
Bone conduction hearing device: It doesn’t go into the ear, so there’s no ear canal discomfort. It has a 4-8 week adaptation period; start by wearing it 1-2 hours daily in quiet environments and gradually increase usage time and scenarios. In the initial stage, you may feel that background noise is too loud or your own voice is hollow—this is normal and will gradually improve with the adaptation period.
How to connect and use the supporting APP for the RIC hearing aid?
Download method: Android users can search for APP in the Google Play Store to download and install; iOS users can search for and download it in the App Store.
Connection steps: Android devices need to enable Bluetooth and location services first, while iOS devices only need to enable Bluetooth. Take the RIC hearing aid out of the charging case and wear it (ensure it is turned on), open the APP and click "Search for Devices", then grant relevant permissions as prompted to connect automatically (Bluetooth or location permissions are required for the first connection).
Core functions: The "Hearing Evaluation" module in the APP allows you to complete a quick hearing test. After generating an audiogram, click "Auto Optimize" to match personalized settings. The "Sound Control" module can adjust volume, mode, frequency band, noise reduction switch, and howling suppression switch, etc.
What if the sound is too quiet or distorted?
Step 1: Basic checks
① Press the “+” button to increase the volume; ② Clean the device: For the RIC hearing aid, use the included cleaning brush to clean microphones, wax guards, and charging contacts; for the bone conduction hearing device, clean the sound outlets and surface to remove earwax or debris.
Step 2: RIC hearing aid-specific optimization
If you use the RIC hearing aid, switch between modes by long-pressing the mode button to optimize sound for different environments:
1 beep = Quiet Mode (suitable for quiet indoor spaces);
2 beeps = Restaurant Mode (suitable for noisy indoor areas like restaurants or shopping malls);
3 beeps = Outdoor Mode (suitable for outdoor environments).
Step 3: Targeted checks
For RIC hearing aid: If the sound is still weak, check if the dome size is appropriate (a too-small dome may cause weak sound) or replace the blocked wax guard. If the battery level is low, charge it in time and try again.
For bone conduction hearing device: If the sound is too soft, adjust the position of the vibration unit (move it up or down until the sound is clear) or tighten the fit rope to ensure the device fits closely to the skin; loose equipment can also lead to poor sound quality.
What should I do if there is whistling (feedback) when wearing the device?
For RIC hearing aid: Check if the dome is properly worn or if the size is appropriate (both too large and too small may cause whistling). Readjust the wearing position or replace with a suitable dome. Clean the wax guard to ensure it is not blocked. Turn on the howling suppression function via the APP or appropriately lower the volume.
For bone conduction hearing device: Check if the device is loose, tighten the fit rope and adjust the position of the vibration unit to ensure it fits closely to the skin. If the volume is too high, press the "-" button to lower it. Avoid hands or other objects being close to the microphone.
How to choose the right dome size for the RIC hearing aid?
The ideal dome size should be slightly larger than the ear canal, secure but not pressure-causing after wearing:
Too small: The dome will easily fall off and fail to deliver standard sound quality and volume.
Too large: It may cause discomfort (even pain) in the ear canal or get stuck and hard to remove.
Note: Left and right ear canals often differ in size (e.g., M for the left ear and S for the right ear), which is normal. It is recommended to test the dome for at least 1 hour and perform daily activities such as chatting and exercising to confirm the most comfortable size.
What is the daily cleaning method for the two hearing devices?
Daily cleaning: For the RIC hearing aid, use the included cleaning brush to remove earwax and debris from the dome, microphone vent, and charging contacts every day. For the bone conduction hearing device, wipe the surface with a tissue, clean the sound outlet and charging contacts, and keep them dry.
Precautions: Do not use water, solvents, cleaning fluids, or oil to clean either hearing device. Avoid inserting cleaning tools into the device and do not disassemble the device.
Does the wax guard of the RIC hearing aid need to be replaced regularly?
How often?Yes, it needs to be replaced regularly. The wax guard is located at the sound outlet of the RIC hearing aid, which can prevent earwax or debris from entering the device and causing damage. It is recommended to replace the wax guard every 3 months and avoid reusing old ones.
What are the requirements for the storage and use environment of the hearing aids?
Operating environment: Temperature -10℃~40℃, relative humidity 0~80%, atmospheric pressure 86kPa~106kPa;
Storage and transportation environment: Temperature 0℃~38℃, relative humidity 0~80%, keep dry, avoid direct sunlight and extreme high temperatures (such as near fire sources or microwave ovens);
Others: Do not use in explosive or oxygen-enriched areas; keep away from children and pets to prevent accidental ingestion of batteries or device parts.

We offer a 45-day risk-free trial. To be eligible for a return, the product must be in its original packaging with all accessories, unused and undamaged. Contact our customer service to get return authorization first—unauthorized returns won’t be accepted. For returns due to quality defects, we cover shipping costs; otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
Are these devices suitable for people with severe hearing loss?
For RIC hearing aid: It is designed for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss. It helps utilize residual hearing for daily conversations and TV watching but cannot restore normal hearing or improve organic diseases that cause hearing loss.
For bone conduction hearing device: It is a hearing assistance device, not a medical-grade hearing aid. It is more suitable for people who need basic sound amplification in daily scenarios (e.g., commuting, casual conversations).
If you have severe hearing loss, consult a hearing health professional for personalized advice.
What health-related precautions should I pay attention to when wearing the hearing aid?
If you experience ear canal pain, redness, itching, inflammation, burning sensation, or bleeding, pus, or fluid discharge from the ear, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor.
Using the RIC hearing aid may accelerate earwax accumulation, which is normal. If excessive earwax causes discomfort, clean it in time or consult a hearing health professional.
If the dome or parts of the RIC hearing aid get stuck in the ear canal, do not use tweezers, cotton swabs, or other tools to remove them by yourself to avoid damaging the eardrum or ear canal. Seek medical attention immediately.
The product contains magnetic materials. If you wear an implantable medical device (such as a pacemaker), consult a doctor before use.
